The hulls are 13' fully encapsulated tunnel boats made from such modern materials as carbon fiber and Kevlar. powered by a 2 cylinder Super Stock OMC
(Johnson or Evinrude) 45 cubic inch motor and any 3 blade propeller. No modifications to original manufactuer specs may be made with exception to .30 over
on the bore or complete re-sleeve. Thezse boats can accelarate from 0-75 m.p.h in under 8 seconds and can pull upwards of 4 G's in the tight single pin turns.
Highly manuverable, these boats ride on just the last 16" of the boat. Straightaway speeds are over 80 m.p.h and the kilo record is held at 92 m.p.h. The hulls of
these boats are the virtual second cousin to the V-6 powered CHAMP BOAT- Formula class. This is one of the largest classes of racing tunnel boats in the OPC.
(Outboard Performance Class) category under the American Power Boat Association (A.P.B.A) with over 80 registered drivers across the country. The competitivness
and the cost effectiveness are what make this class so popular.
